The Order of the Silver Hand (TOSH) is a social organization of gamers who play Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games (MMORPG) offering friendship, information, and the benefit of our knowledge to all. The Order of the Silver Hand was started in Asheron's Call 1, in October of the year 1999, by "The Mayor of Yaraq" and "Znick". They immediately recognized that leveling and becoming more powerful characters while being important aspects of playing, were not the ultimate goals. There is no prize for getting to the highest level the fastest. It's the trip along the way that counts! The goal of our organization is and always has been to have fun and make some good friends as we go! Znick eventually decided to move to another game, Anarchy Online, that's when the idea of "expanding" the guild to other games was born. Over six years later, The Order of the Silver Hand has grown to transcend several MMORPG games that have included Ultima Online, Asheron's Call, Asheron's Call 2, Dark Age of Camelot, Shadowbane, Star Wars Galaxies, Final Fantasy XI, Everquest, Everquest 2, Anarchy Online, Horizons, City of Heroes and City of Villains, Dungeons and Dragons Online, World of Warcraft, Lineage2, and others. In some games we had huge guilds of several hundreds of active players, and in others we were as small as only fifty to sixty players, but in every case we hold to the TOSH traditions and family atmosphere. We are also looking forward to starting new guilds as new MMORPG games are marketed. In each game, The Order of the Silver Hand is a social guild offering friendship, information, and the benefit of our knowledge to all. Members enjoy the added benefits of companionship and being able to participate in guild hunts, quests, and other events. We foster a family-like brotherhood where you can rely on the other members to help, share knowledge, and encourage you along the way. If you are a mature-minded individual interested in joining our group, simply apply in the appropriate post on these forums. The leader of TOSH in that particular game will respond and let you know what must be done to acquire full membership. Welcome to "The Hand." |
