This is for new registrants.

We've had a huge problem with spam-bots lately, and it's an attempt to stop the illegal registrations and Soup/pillies posts and links. When I set the forums to "Admin Approval", it still allows bots to register, but they cannot post. This is somewhat of a fix, but more of a band aid, because if I am not available to manually activate someone immediately, there's a time lag between when they register and when I approve them.

What we have now done, is Neck has introduced a code that new registrants will have to manually input to be activated. This allows me to keep the forums set on "User Approval", and as long as they have the code, they can activate themselves immediately. Bots won't actually be reading the forum to see the code, people will.
